US/Washington: Target Menorah Recall [US]Target recalls an estimated 2,600 Menorahs due to fire and burn hazards. CPSC:

The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (“CPSC”) reports this recall involves certain clear acrylic Hanukkah Menorahs in a pyramid design that measure approximately 10.5 inches long, 1.2 inches wide and 2.3 inches high.

  • Menorahs, model number 240-14-0169 and bar code can be found on a round white label on the side of the Menorah.

Please consult the photograph above for details of the product’s packaging, design and retail presentation. Additional images of the recalled Menorahs are pictured on the Web site above.

According to the CPSC, the Menorahs can melt when the candles are burning. This poses both a fire hazard and a consequential burn hazard.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Menorahs, please do not use them. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
