The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Flashlights are subject to this recall:

  • Coleman CTAC Lithium-Ion Flashlight – CTAC40 / model: 2000013873, and
  • Coleman CTAC Lithium-Ion Flashlight – CTAC60 / model: 2000013872

The recalled Flashlights are black, have the word, “Coleman” printed in white along the handle and have the applicable model number in white print on the upper portion of the handle next to the light. The lithium-ion batteries inside the Flashlights are red with the Coleman logo in white.

Please consult the photograph above for details of the product’s packaging, design and retail presentation. One (1) additional image of the recalled Flashlights is pictured on the Web site above.

According to the ACCC, the Flashlight’s rechargeable lithium-ion batteries can overheat. If this happens, the lithium-ion batteries could discharge their contents and cause a fire.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Flashlights, please do not use them. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

You should stop using these Flashlights, dispose of the battery as per local environmental legislation and return the Flashlights to Coleman Brands for a full refund.
