The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Canned Tomatoes are subject to this recall:

  • Ardmona Whole Peeled Vine Ripened Tomatoes, batch code TOM W/P 428580 007CM. No APNs, UPCs, barcodes or other identifiers were released for this recall.

Please consult the photograph above for details of the food’s packaging, design and retail presentation.

According to the ACCC, the packaging integrity of specific batch of the recalled Tomatoes may cause increased pressure in the can. In turn, this creates is a risk of injury when opening this product.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession the recalled Canned Tomatoes, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
