The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports the following Trail Mixes are subject to this recall:

  • The Cape Cod Cranberry Trail Mix, 7-ounce packages and sold under the following brand names:
    • 1897
    • Ciao
    • Farmers Market
    • Fresh Attractions
    • Grounded In
    • La Tapenade
    • Marche
    • MKT
    • Pronto
    • PZA
    • The Local
    • Urban Market

The recalled Trail Mixes were sold in stores in the following markets: Arizona, California, Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas and West Virginia.

Please consult the photograph above for details of the food’s packaging, design and retail presentation. Additional brands and/or designs and/or variations of the recalled foods are pictured on the Web site above.

According to the FDA, HMSHost was notified by one of its snack manufacturers, Woodstock Farms Manufacturing, that during its routine testing, Listeria monocytogenes was found in two lots of walnuts used in one of its Trail Mixes.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Trail Mixes, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the Snacks to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
