The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports the following Frozen Peas and Mixed Vegetables are subject to this recall:

  • Central Markets Organics brand Green Peas, 12-ounce package; product codes: best-used-by code: JAN.08.2018; UPC: 4122081674
  • Central Markets Organics brand Green Peas, 16-ounce package; product codes: best-used-by code: DEC.09.2017; UPC: 4122010240
  • Central Markets Organics brand Mixed Vegetables, 16-ounce package; product codes: best-used-by code: DEC.05.2017 and JAN.11.2018; UPC: 4122010249
  • H-E-B Organics brand Mixed Vegetables, 16-ounce package; product codes: best-used-by code: MAR.04.2018 and MAR.25.2018; UPC: 4122004013
  • Sweetfrost brand Mixed Vegetables, 16-ounce package; product codes: best-used-by code: 20886; UPC:7 307381875
  • Woodstock Organic brand Mixed Vegetables, 10-ounce package; product codes: best-used-by code: JAN.11.2018; UPC: 4256300160

According to the FDA, the recalled products include Central Market Organic Peas and Mixed Vegetables, H-E-B Organic Mixed Vegetables, Sweetfrost Mixed Vegetables, and Woodstock Organic Mixed Vegetables as listed above.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Frozen Vegetables, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the Vegetables to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

Please note: this notification is a part of a much larger recall of Frozen Fruits and Vegetables from CRF Frozen Foods in which 358 separate frozen fruit and vegetable products sold under 42 separate brands were withdrawn from the marketplace due to suspected Listeria monocytogenes contamination.
