The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports the following Mixed Vegetables and Green Peas are subject to this recall:

  • Natural Directions Organic Mixed Vegetables, 12 ounce plastic bag; UPC: 0-15400-19672-7
    • Batch use-by/sell-by/date: use-by 06 2017 / mfg: 06 16 2015; production code: 5J5 16X8 HH:MM
    • Batch use-by/sell-by/date: use-by 02 2018 / mfg: 02 16 2016; production code: 5F6 16X8 HH:MM
    • Batch use-by/sell-by/date: use-by 04 2018 / mfg: 04 19 2016; production code: 5H6 19X8 HH:MM
  • Natural Directions Organic Green Peas; 12 ounce plastic bag; UPC: 0-15400-19670-3
    • Batch use-by/sell-by/date: use-by 03 2018 / mfg: 03 21 2016; production code: 5G6 21X8 HH:MM

According to the FDA, the recalled Natural Directions brand Organic Mixed Vegetables and Natural Directions brand Organic Green Peas were sold in the US states of Alaska, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Washington as well as the American dependency of Guam.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Frozen Vegetables, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the Vegetables to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

Please note: this notification is a part of a much larger recall of Frozen Fruits and Vegetables from CRF Frozen Foods in which 358 separate frozen fruit and vegetable products sold under 42 separate brands were withdrawn from the marketplace due to suspected Listeria monocytogenes contamination.
