The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports the following Salads are subject to this recall:

  • Trader Joe’s Kale & Edamame Salad, sold with a use-by date range of May 05, 2016 through May 14, 2016 and a UPC of 00967112.

Please consult the photograph above for details of the food’s packaging, design and retail presentation. One (1) additional image of the recalled Salads is pictured on the Web site above.

According to the FDA, the Salads were sold at Trader Joe’s stores located in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Ohio and Wisconsin.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Salads, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the Salads to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
