US/Silver Spring: Harris Teeter, a subsidiary of The Kroger Co., recalls certain batch/lots of Harris Teeter Frozen Organic Corn and Harris Teeter Frozen Mixed Vegetables due to suspected Listeria monocytogenes contamination, a serious health hazard. FDA: http://ht.ly/94a73007lNw

The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports the following Frozen Vegetables are subject to this recall:
- Harris Teeter Frozen Organic Corn, UPC: 7203676395
- Harris Teeter Frozen Organic Mixed Vegetables, UPC: 7203676393.
According to the FDA, Harris Teeter was notified by Seabrook Brothers, the manufacturer of these products, may have used vegetables that are part of the recent CRF Frozen Foods recall.
These Frozen Vegetables may have been sold in Harris Teeter stores between October 19, 2015 and December 24, 2015.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Frozen Vegetables, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the Vegetables to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
Please note: this notification is a part of a much larger recall of Frozen Fruits and Vegetables from CRF Frozen Foods in which 358 separate frozen fruit and vegetable products sold under 42 separate brands were withdrawn from the marketplace due to suspected Listeria monocytogenes contamination.
