Canada/Ottawa: Five Star International Ltd recalls certain batch/lots of Yuki brand Sushi Style Imitation Crab Stick due to undeclared egg, a known allergen, source of dietary intolerance and possible trigger of Anaphylaxis, a serious and potential fatal situation, requiring immediate medical intervention. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (“CFIA”) reports the following Imitation Crab Sticks are subject to this recall:

• Yuki brand Sushi Style Imitation Crab Stick, 500 gram package; product code: best-before
  date: 05MAR2017; UPC: 8 854241 004424

Please consult the photograph above for details of the food’s packaging, design and retail presentation.

According to the CFIA, Five Star International Ltd. has recalled Yuki brand Sushi Style Imitation Crab Stick from the marketplace because it contains egg, an ingredient not declared on the product label. People with an allergy to egg should not consume and hotels, restaurants and institutions should not sell or use the recalled product listed above.
