US/Washington: Perfect Fit Chicken Meal Recall [US]Perfect Fit Meals, recalls approximately 10,455 pounds of Chicken Entrees due to possible mislabeling and undeclared milk, a known allergen, source of dietary intolerance and possible trigger of Anaphylaxis, a serious and potential fatal situation, requiring immediate medical intervention. The United States Department of Agriculture (“USDA”) reports the following Chicken Entrees are subject to this recall:

  • 10.4-ounce sealed tray packages with a label that says “Perfect Fit Meals Texas Chicken Ranch Casserole” with a use-by date of 4/24/2016, but may, in fact, contain “Perfect Fit Meals Lemon Pepper Chicken”. No UPC or other identification was listed with this recalled product.
  • 11-ounce sealed tray packages with a label that says “Perfect Fit Meals Chipotle Chicken Sausage” with a use-by date of 5/2/2016, but may, in fact, contain “Perfect Fit Meals Turkey Enchilada”. No UPC or other identification was listed with this recalled product.

Please consult the photograph above for details of the food’s packaging, design and retail presentation. Additional variations of the recalled Chicken Meals are pictured on the Web site above.

According to the USDA, the prepared Chicken Meals subject to recall bear the establishment number “P-827” inside the USDA mark of inspection on the sealed tray packages. These items were shipped to retail locations US nationwide.

The problem was discovered after the firm was notified by a retailer that the products were incorrectly labeled.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession these recalled Chicken Meals and could be allergic to their milk ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
