The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Paté Products are subject to this recall (in alphabetical order):

  • Brandy Port and Sage Paté, 1 kilogram blister pack; all packages with a use-by date up to and including 13/5/2016.
  • Brandy Port and Sage Paté, 120 gram blister pack all packages with a use-by date up to and including 13/5/2016.
  • Chicken Liver Paté, 1 kilogram blister pack; all packages with a use-by date up to and including 13/5/2016.
  • Chicken Liver Paté, 120 gram blister pack; all packages with a use-by date up to and including 13/5/2016.
  • Cracked Pepper Paté, 1 kilogram blister pack; all packages with a use-by date up to and including 13/5/2016.
  • Cracked Pepper Paté, pack 120 gram blister pack; all packages with a use-by date up to and including 13/5/2016.
  • Duckling and Brandied Apricot Paté, 1 kilogram blister pack; all packages with a use-by date up to and including 13/5/2016.
  • Duckling with Brandied Apricot, 120 gram blister pack; all packages with a use-by date up to and including 13/5/2016.
  • Just Entrees Australia Brandy Port and Sage Paté; all packages with a use-by date up to and including 13/5/2016.
  • Just Entrees Australia Chicken Liver Paté; all packages with a use-by date up to and including 13/5/2016.
  • Just Entrees Australia Cracked Pepper Paté; all packages with a use-by date up to and including 13/5/2016.
  • Orange Cognac Paté, 120 gram blister pack; all packages with a use-by date up to and including 13/5/2016.

Please consult the photograph above for details of the food’s packaging, design and retail presentation. Additional variations of the recalled Paté are pictured on the Web site above. There were no UPCs or other identifying marks released with this recall.

According to the ACCC, the recall was initiated after the above products test positive for Listeria monocytogenes. Listeria may cause life-changing illness in pregnant women and their unborn fetus, the elderly and others with low immune systems.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Paté Products, please do not consume them. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
