Additional information:
The UK Chartered Trading Standards Institute (“CTSI”) reports the following Christmas Puddings are subject to this recall:

  • Selfridges Speciality Christmas Pudding, package weight: 800 grams; batch codes: v7, v8 and v11 with a best-before date of 30 April 2016

According to the CTSI, although these Christmas Puddings are a seasonal product and it is likely that they will already have been eaten, some may still be held by consumers, as the best-before date is still current. The presence of mould does not usually cause food poisoning. It is, however,  an indication that the product may be spoiled and unfit for consumption.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Christmas Puddings, please do not consume them. Instead, kindly return the product to the Selfridges store where you purchased it for a full refund.
