Health Canada/Santé Canada (“HCSC”) reports the following Sunscreen is subject to this recall:

  • Personnelle Sunscreen Lotion 30 SPF Children and Adults, DIN: 02395975; lot number: 20145; expiry date: JAN 27. 2017

Please consult the photograph above for details of the product’s packaging, design and retail presentation.

According to Health Canada, it has requested Empack Spraytech Inc to initiate a recall of one (1) lot of Personnelle Sunscreen Lotion due to microbial contamination. The affected Sunscreen was sold at Jean Coutu retail locations.

Microbial contamination may result in a skin infection and this risk may be higher in children and individuals with a weakened immune system.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Sunscreen Lotion, please do not use them. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

Please note: the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada.
