The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports the following Pistachio-based products are subject to this recall:

  • Fresh Choice brand Survivor Mix, 4.75 ounce package; best-by date range: 9/11/2016 to 1/13/2017; UPC: 0-39759-17030-6
  • Southern Grove brand Survival Mix, 10 ounce package; best-by date range: 8/27/2016 to 2/2/2017; UPC: 0-41498-21118-9
  • Southern Grove brand Go Raw, 8 ounce package; best-by date range: 8/17/2016 to 9/14/2016; UPC: 0-41498-21123-3
  • Nature’s Eats brand Natural Pistachios, 8 ounce package; best-by date range: 8/3/2016 to 1/14/2017; UPC: 8-32112-00271-5
  • Nature’s Eats brand Survivor Mix, 10 ounce package; best-by date range: 9/3/2016 to 1/18/2017; UPC: 8-32112-00345-3
  • Nature’s Eats brand Hill Country Ramblin’, 15 ounce package; best-by date range: 8/14/2016 to 2/1/2017; UPC: 8-32112-00364-4
  • Nature’s Eats brand Austin’s Nutty All-Terrain, 12 ounce package; best-by date range: 8/21/2016 to 1/28/2017; UPC: 8-32112-00371-2
  • Nature’s Eats brand Almond & Pistachio Duo, 6 ounce package; best-by date range: 9/8/2016 to 2/8/2017; UPC: 8-32112-00380-4
  • Nature’s Eats brand Simply Go Raw, 8 ounce package; best-by date range: 8/13/2016 to 1/25/2017; UPC: 8-32112-00383-5

According to the FDA, the above listed Snack Products, were distributed to retailers US nationwide. These products were sold between 8/13/2015 and 2/24/2016.

The company has ceased the distribution of all of the above products containing Pistachio kernels. The recall was the result of a routine, random sampling program conducted by a FDA third-party contracted lab that revealed that the Nature’s Eats Natural Pistachio Kernels product contained Salmonella.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Snack Mixes containing Pistachios, please do not consume them. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
