The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports the following Cheese Muffin Sandwiches are subject to this recall:

  • Starbucks branded Sausage Egg Cheese Muffin Sandwiches, sold in 6-ounce, clear plastic labeled packages marked with best-before date code of 07-AUG-2016 printed on the top.

Please consult the photograph above for details of the food’s packaging, design and retail presentation.

According to the FDA, the product comes in a six (6)-ounce, clear plastic labeled package marked with a best-before of 07-AUG-2016 on the top. No other production runs of this product are impacted by this recall.

The recalled Muffin Sandwiches were available for sale from certain Starbucks locations in Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas from 3/3/2016 and 3/4/2016. The Muffin Sandwiches may be heated at the store level for immediate consumption.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Muffin Sandwiches, please do not consume them. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
