The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Dairy Products are subject to this recall:

  • Coles Brand Western Australian Fresh Hilo Milk 98% fat free, sold in 1L cartons with a use-by date code of 06 Feb 16
  • Coles Brand Western Australian Fresh Full Cream milk, sold in 1L cartons with a use-by date code of 06 Feb 16

Please consult the photograph above for details of the food’s packaging, design and retail presentation.

According to the ACCC, this recall was caused when coliforms were found in the Diary Products identified above. Food or beverages contaminated with coliforms may cause severe illness if consumed.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession the recalled Milk and Cream, please do not consume them. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
