The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Portable Baby Cots are subject to this recall:

  • Frank Masons brand Portable Cot PL5007 in pink/red or blue, reference number: 2012203PL5007

Please consult the photograph above for details of the product’s design and retail presentation.

According to the ACCC, the recalled Portable Baby Cots do not comply with the mandatory Australian standard AS/NZS 2195: 1999 ‘Folding Cots — Safety requirements’. Specifically, the Portable Baby Cots failed to comply with the various design, safety and performance and marking requirements of the mandatory standard. The product poses numerous risks, including an entrapment hazard, to infants using this product.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Baby Cots, please do not consume them. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
