US/Washington: 6573 - FlyingFoodEdamameHummusWrapsFlying Food Group recalls approximately 1,006 pounds of Starbucks branded Edamame Hummus Wraps due to possible mislabeling and undeclared peanuts and tree nuts, both known allergens, sources of dietary intolerance and possible triggers of Anaphylaxis, a serious and potential fatal situation, requiring immediate medical intervention. Additional information:
The United States Department of Agriculture (“USDA”) reports the following Hummus Wraps are subject to this recall:

  • Starbucks branded Edamame Hummus Wraps, sold in 6.8-ounce containers containing Olives and a Dipping Sauce, were assembled on February 16, 2016 and stamped with an enjoy-by date of 02/19.

Please consult the photograph above for details of the food’s packaging, design and retail presentation.

According to the USDA, the Edamame Hummus Wrap products are mislabeled and may actually contain Thai Style Chicken Peanut Wraps instead. The Thai Style Chicken Peanut Meals are made with peanuts and tree nuts, both are known allergens but neither is declared on the product label.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled Hummus Wraps and could be allergic to their peanut and/or tree nut ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
