The UK Chartered Trading Standards Institute (“CTSI”) reports the following bottles of Sparkling Wine are subject to this recall:

  • Chardolini Sparkling Perry Wine, sold in 75 cl (750 ml) glass bottles with lot codes L27105N3 or L5328N3

Please consult the photograph above for details of the Wine’s packaging, design and retail presentation.

According to the CTSI, some bottles of the recalled Sparkling Perry Wine may contain small glass fragments. The company is, therefore, recalling the above lot codes. The lot codes are indicated on the shoulder of the bottle.

If glass, plastic or metal fragments are ingested, they could cut the mouth, stomach or other parts of the GI tract, cause intestinal perforation or serious infection and possibly require surgical intervention for their safe removal.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Sparkling Perry Wine, please do not drink it. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
