The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (“CPSC”) reports this recall involves certain Renogy brand 100-watt Bendable Solar Panels.

The recalled Solar Panels are black plastic sheets about 41 inches long by about 21 inches wide by about 1/8 inch thick. The model number, “RNG-100DB” is printed on the top of the panel, either on the front or back.

According to the CPSC, the Solar Panels can overheat, posing a risk of fire. The firm has received 11 reports of the Solar Panels overheating, including three reports of property damage.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Solar Panels, please do not use them. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
