The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Electric ‘Hoverboard’ Scooters have been recalled:

  • Jyro branded Self-Balancing 2-Wheel ‘Hoverboard’ Electric Scooters, sold with purpose-built battery chargers marked as LA3610,  JY-422000 or TCN120WS-420020

Please consult the photograph above for details of the product’s design and retail presentation.

According to the ACCC, the Battery Charger may not comply with Australian standards. There is, therefore, a potential risk of overcharging the battery and causing fire

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Scooters, please do not use them. Instead, kindly return the product to Jyro for a full refund.
