The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports the following Pie Filling is subject to this recall:

  • Margaritaville Banana Cream Pie Filling, sold in 4.16 ounce cartons with a lot number of WC5257, a best-before date of September 2017 and a UPC of 7239202925

Please consult the photograph above for details of the food’s packaging, design and retail presentation.

According to the FDA, this recall was ordered after the supplier of the banana chips used in the Banana Cream Pie Filling notified Jel Sert of possible Salmonella contamination.
