The UK Chartered Trading Standards Institute (“CTSI”) reports the following Mango Chutney is subject to this recall:

  • Sainsbury’s brand Mango Chutney, sold in 370 gram jars with a best-before end date of October 2017, a batch code of 5303 and an EAN/barcode of 7573796

According to the CTSI, some of the jar in the above identified batch may contain mustard seeds, an ingredient not declared on the product label.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession this recalled Mango Chutney and could be allergic to its mustard ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume it. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
