US/Washington: Cost Plus World Tovin Chair Recall [US]Cost Plus World Market recalls an estimated 1,880 Tovin Chairs due to structural failure, fall and injury hazards. CPSC:

The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (“CPSC”) reports this recall involves upholstered Tovin Chairs sold in a black and white print.

  • The recalled Tovin Chairs measure approximately 32-inches tall by 23-inches wide, and have a wooden frame with clear floor glides. The SKU number of “507667” is printed on a UPC sticker affixed to the underside of the Chair.

According to the CPSC, the legs on the Chairs can bend or break, posing a fall hazard to the user. Cost Plus World Market has received five reports of the chair legs bending or breaking. No injuries have been reported.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Tovin Chairs, please do not use them. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
