Additional information:
The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Infant’s Toys are subject to this recall:

  • Baby’s Funny Birds, a brightly coloured plastic toy for infants that produces various sounds and music with a barcode of YE1301018

Please consult the photograph above for details of the product’s packaging, design and retail presentation.

According to the ACCC, small parts may detach from this Infant’s Toy. Consequently, the products do not comply with Australia’s mandatory safety standard for toys for children up to and including 36 months of age (Australian Standard AS/NZS ISO 8124.1:2003, as amended by the regulation). If small-parts are liberated during use, it poses a potential choking hazard to young children.

If plastic or metal fragments are ingested, they could cut the mouth, stomach or other parts of the GI tract, cause intestinal perforation or serious infection and possibly require surgical intervention for their safe removal.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Infant’s Toys, please do not let your child play with them. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
