The UK Chartered Trading Standards Institute (“CTSI”) reports the following power accessory is subject to this recall:

  • EE branded Power Bar External Batteries for mobile phones, distributed in yellow, teal and black “EE” livery colours with a yellow USB cable.

Please consult the photograph above for details of the product’s packaging, design and retail presentation.

According to the CTSI, incidents have occurred in which EE branded Power Bars have overheated in circumstances that could cause a fire safety risk.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled EE Power Bars, please do not use or charge them. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a £20 voucher for a future phone accessories purchase.
