The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Travel Adaptors are subject to this recall:

  • International Universal Travel Adaptor, 250 VAC, 10 Amps. No item number or UPC was given.

Please consult the photograph above for details of the Travel Adaptors’ packaging, design and retail presentation. An additional variation of the recalled product is pictured on the Web site above.

According to the ACCC, these Travel Adaptors have no electrical approval number for sale within Australia. Due to lack of proof of electrical certification, there is a possible risk of fire and/or electrocution if this product is used in the way intended.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Travel Adaptors, please do not use them. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
