The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Ginger Marmalade is subject to this recall:

  • Buderim brand Original Ginger Marmalade, sold in jars of 365 grams with a best-before date of 18/07/2018 and an APN/EAN of 9310371293071

Please consult the photograph above for details of the food’s packaging, design and retail presentation.

According to the ACCC, there is a potential for glass fragments to be present in this Ginger Marmalade.

If glass fragments are ingested, they could cut the mouth, stomach or other parts of the GI tract, cause intestinal perforation or serious infection and possibly require surgical intervention for their safe removal.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Ginger Marmalade, please do not consume them. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
