The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports the following Dietary Supplements are subject to this recall:

  • Pink Bikini Dietary Supplements, a product sold as a weight loss dietary supplement and is packaged in clear bottle in white powder capsules. The affected Pink Bikini and lots include the following expiration date 7/30/2017. The Dietary Supplements was distributed nationwide to consumers via and its Waisted With Lucy retail store.

According to the FDA, Diclofenac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (“NSAID”). This medicine works by reducing substances in the body that cause pain and inflammation. Diclofenac can increase one’s risk of fatal Heart Attack or Stroke, especially if it is used long term or taken at high doses, or if the user have heart Disease.

Further, for women who are pregnant, taking Diclofenac during the last three months (i.e., during the Third Trimester) of Pregnancy may harm the unborn baby. This undeclared ingredient, therefore, makes this Dietary Supplement an unapproved new drug for which safety and efficacy have not been established.
