Additional information:
The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (“CPSC”) reports the recall includes the L.L. Bean GTO Hunting Knife with Sheath with product identification number 296435 printed on the product’s packaging.

  • The recalled Knife measures approximately eight (8) inches long including a 4-inch blade. The handle is made of G10 synthetic. The brand, “L.L. Bean” is printed on the blade and an outline of a mountain is printed on the blade. The sheath is made of black ballistic cloth, embroidered with “L.L. Bean” and an outline of mountains.

According to the CPSC, the Knife can cut through its protective Sheath, posing a laceration hazard.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Knives, please do not use them. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
