The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Paracetamol Tablets are subject to this recall:

  • Apotex APO-Paracetamol Tablets, sold in 500 mg containers with a batch number of X40466 and an expiry date of 05/2016

According to the ACCC, the recalled Paracetamol Tablets could contain small pieces of latex. If indeed present, the latex poses an allergy hazard to consumers with a latex allergy.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Paracetamol Tablets and could be allergic to their latex ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
