The UK Chartered Trading Standards Institute (“CTSI”) reports the following Snack Foods subject to this recall

  • Choco Creation Fruit Mix, size: 200 gram pouch, lot: 5132, best-before date: 19/11/15
  • Choco Creation Fruit Mix, size: 200 gram pouch, lot: 5174, best-before date: 18/01/16

The recalled Fruit Mixes were sold at TK Maxx and HomeSense stores between June and July 2015.

According to the CTSI, Choco Creation is recalling the above product from the market as a precautionary measure. Due to a production error, some packs may contain Chocolate Coated Peanuts instead of the labeled Fruit Mix.

The recalled pack is labelled with the warning “may contain traces of peanuts and nuts” and is safe to consume by people with no peanut allergy. People with a peanut allergy, however, are advised not to consume this product.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled packages of Fruit Mix and could be allergic to their peanut ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
