The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Soft Drinks are subject to this recall:

  • Phoenix Cola (single and 4-pack), best-before date range: 13/04/16 to 07/07/16
  • Lemonade, best-before date range: 13/04/16 to 07/07/16
  • Light Cola, best-before date range: 13/04/16 to 07/07/16
  • Orange Fizz, best-before date range: 13/04/16 to 07/07/16
  • Raspberry Fizz, best-before date range: 13/04/16 to 07/07/16

According to the ACCC, the recall is due to a small number of bottles having damaged rims and possibly containing small glass particles.

If plastic, glass or metal fragments are ingested, they could cut the mouth, stomach or other parts of the GI tract, cause intestinal perforation or serious infection and possibly require surgical intervention for their safe removal.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession the recalled Soft Drinks, please do not consume them. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
