The UK Chartered Trading Standards Institute (“CTSI”) reports the following Smoked Paprika is subject to this recall:

  • La Chinata Smoked Paprika ‘Dulce’ (Sweet) and ‘Picante’ (Spicy Hot), sold in 70 gram and 750 gram tins with a batch code of 322 and 324 (batch 320 was recalled in the original recall).

According to the CTSI, Brindisa Spanish Foods has extended its recall of its La Chinata Smoked Paprika to batch codes 322 and 324. This is because Salmonella has also been detected in the these additional batches.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession the recalled Smoked Paprika, please do not consume it. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
