The UK Chartered Trading Standards Institute (“CTSI”) reports the following Dehumidifiers are subject to this recall:

  • Homebase 10 Litre Dehumidifiers, sold between June 2006 and December 2008. No serial number range, barcode or UPC/EAN has been supplied.

Please consult the photograph above for details of the Dehumidifier’s packaging, design and retail presentation. Another photograph of the recalled product is pictured on the Web site above.

According to the CTSI, Homebase has become aware of a potential safety issue on the above Dehumidifiers that may cause them to overheat and cause a fire hazard.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession the recalled Dehumidifiers, please do not use or consume it. Instead, kindly disconnect it immediately from the mains and return it to the nearest Homebase store for a full refund.
