The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Bean Bag Skins are subject to this recall:

  • Bean Bag Skin, Black Zebra color/design; packed in a plastic bag; approximate “open” dimensions: 110 cm by 80 cm by 40cm; packed size: 39 cm by 27 cm by 10 cm; model number: LS089

Please consult the photograph above for details of the product’s packaging, design and retail presentation.

According to the ACCC, the recalled Bean Bag Skins do not have a child-resistant slide fastener or the required safety warning labels in contravention of the mandatory safety standard for Bean Bags. The Bean Bags may, therefore, allow access to the polystyrene beans, which pose a potential choking hazard to young children.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any recalled Bean Bag Skins, please do not use them or let your children play on or near them. Instead, kindly return the product to Soo-Mart for a full refund.
