Additional information:
The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Cruiser Bikes are subject to this recall:

  • Polygon’s Zenith Town 3 Beach Cruiser Bicycle; colour: black gloss; size: medium (17″); weight 13.3kg; identification number: AIXP26ZT3N16G1

Please consult the photograph above for details of the food’s packaging, design and retail presentation.

According to the ACCC, the Polygon Zenith Town 3.0 Beach Cruiser Bike does not comply with AS/NZS 1927:2010 Pedal Bicycles—Safety Requirements, Consumer Protection Notice Section 2.1.14. The Bicycle was sold with a rear brake only and not a front brake. If the rear brake were to fail, there is no additional brake to stop the bike, posing an accident hazard to the rider.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession the recalled Bicycle, please do not use them. Instead, kindly contact the online store from which the Bicycle was purchased and request a new front brake be retrofitted.
