According to the FDA, these baked goods have been recalled due to possible presence of foreign material that might impact the quality of the product. The company reports a terry cloth glove used for handling hot pans could have broken up in the dough, resulting in a potential choking hazard.

If plastic, glass, cloth or metal fragments are ingested, they could cut the mouth, stomach or other parts of the GI tract, cause intestinal perforation or serious infection and possibly require surgical intervention for their safe removal.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession the recalled Buns, please do not consume them. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

If you have any questions about this recall, please contact H-E-B Customer Service at 1-855-432-4438.
