The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Floor Lamps are subject to this recall:

  • Gerry Upright Floor Lamps, including with a plastic shade with a matte silver finish stand; APN numbers 9300803289758 and 9341102654250.

Please consult the photograph above for details of the Lamp’s design and retail presentation.

According to the ACCC, the recalled Lamps fail to meet the assembly and construction requirements of Australia’s electrical safety standard. During assembly, internal wiring can be twisted resulting in electrical connections becoming loose or dislodged. If this occurs, there is a risk of electric shock or fire.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession ay of the recalled Lamps, please do not use them. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
