The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Bean Bag Chair are subject to this recall:

  • MOJO Mini Me – Fuchsia; product code: MJMM001N
  • MOJO Mini Me – Aqua; product code: MJMM002N
  • MOJO Mini Me – Navy; product code: MJMM003N
  • MOJO Mini Me – Lime Green; product code: MJMM004N
  • MOJO Mini Me – Red; product code: MJMM006N
  • MOJO Mini UFO – Navy; product code: MJMU004
  • MOJO Mini UFO – Red; product code: MJMU005

According to the ACCC, the inner zip on the Bean Bag does not have a child-resistant slide fastener. In contravention of the mandatory safety standard for these products, the bag is not fitted with a child-resistant slide fastener and may therefore allow access to the polystyrene beans, which pose a potential choking hazard to young children.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession a recalled Bean Bag Furniture Item, please do not use them nor let your children play or of near them. Instead, kindly remove the paperclip from the zipper to prevent children accessing the polystyrene beads.
