The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Bicycles are subject to this recall:

  • GT Fury Expert Bicycles, downhill bikes with the following identification numbers: GTGM0356LG01, GTGM0356MD01 and GTGM0356SM0

According to the ACCC, the front hub on the 2015 model can break, and the brake rotor may separate from the hub. If this occurs, the rider can lose control of the bicycle, have a crash which could, potentially result in serious injury or death.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession a recalled GT Fury Expert Bicycle, please do not use it. Instead, kindly return the front wheel to the store where you purchased it for a full refund or replacement.
