Health Canada/Santé Canada (“HCSC”) reports this recall involves some EZ Grill Ready-to-Use Disposable Grills, consisting of a shrink-wrapped aluminum pan pre-filled with charcoal and a grill on which to cook; UPC: 899521002019.

According to Health Canada, Health Canada’s sampling and evaluation project has revealed the EZ Grill does not meet the warning label requirements under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act (“CCPSA”).

Charcoal produces Carbon Monoxide. This can be toxic if it is burned inside or in an area without proper ventilation. Warning labels help to protect the public by telling them about this hazard.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession a recalled Disposable Grill, please do not use it. Instead, kindly contact United Unlimited at 1-204-582-5515 for a corrective warning label. If you still feel you or your family are at risk, please return the product to the store where you purchased it or dispose of the Grill as per your local municipal waste management regulations.
