The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Magic Bar-Sound Sticks are subject to this recall:

  • The body of the Bar-Sound Stick is approximately 40 cm, with the body of each Stick printed with different colors as well as images of various animals. Inside each Tube there are some small parts that make a sound when the Tube is placed in different positions. There are various bar code numbers depending on the animals displayed.

According to the ACCC, the Bar-Sound Sticks may not comply with the mandatory standard for toys for children up to and including 36 months of age: AS/NZS ISO 8124.1. If the ends detach from the product, it poses a potential choking hazard.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Magic Bar-Sound Sticks, please do not use them or let your children play with them . Instead, kindly remove them from your child’s area and control, and return the Sticks to the store where you purchased them for a full refund.
