US/Silver Spring: Lite Works Dill Pickle Popcorn Recall [US]The Popcorn Factory recalls certain Lite Works Dill Pickle Popcorn due to undeclared milk, a known allergen, source of dietary intolerance and possible trigger of Anaphylaxis, a serious and potential fatal situation, requiring immediate medical intervention. The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports the following Foods are subject to this recall:

  • Lite Works Dill Pickle Popcorn, sold 600-4 ounce bags. The lot code of the recalled Popcorn is 15111, the best by date is SEP 17, 2015.

Please consult the photograph above for details of the food’s packaging, design and retail presentation.

According to the FDA, the Popcorn was distributed nationally in Burlington Coat Factory retail stores. The Popcorn comes in a 4-ounce foil bags. A 5-digit lot code is printed along with the best-by date just above the price sticker located on the lower left of the back of the bag. The lot code of the recalled product is “15111” while its best-by date is SEP 17, 2015.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession the recalled Popcorn and could be allergic to their milk ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them.
