The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following LED Candles are subject to this recall:

  • LED Lit Plastic Imitation Candle

Please consult the photograph above for details of the product’s design and retail presentation.

According to the ACCC, the battery supplied in the recalled LED Candle unit may split and leak acid. Contact with battery acid may cause skin or eye irritation or injury due to corrosive, chemical burns.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled LED Candles, please do not use them.

Instead, dispose of the battery in accordance with local government requirements for safe disposal of batteries using appropriate personal protective equipment (including gloves and safety glasses) and contact BrandNet on (02) 6123 2990, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM or via e-mail to arrange a replacement battery or full refund.
