Additional information:
The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Girls’ Rompers are subject to this recall:

  • Next Girls Geo Print Romper in sizes 3-6 months to 2-3 years; style number 139396; the recalled garments can be identified by a code on the front of the size label, with the first 6 digits of “901-382”.

Please consult the photograph above for details of the Romper’s design and retail presentation.

According to the ACCC, the Next Girls Geo Print Rompers in sizes 3-6 Months to 2-3 Years are not labelled with Australia’s required fire safety warning label. The Romper does not, therefore, comply with the mandatory standard for children’s nightwear and limited daywear, AS/NZS 1249:2003, as amended by the regulation.

Incorrect labels could result in the consumer being unaware of the correct fire danger rating of the garment, which is ‘Low Fire Danger’. The Rompers may pose a fire hazard if they come into contact with an exposed flame.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Girls’ Rompers, please do not use them or let your child wear or play with them. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

Please note: Next Girls Geo Print Rompers in sizes 3-4 Years and older are not affected by this recall notification.
