The UK Trading Standards Institute (“TSI”) reports the following Mars Chocolate Bars are subject to this recall:

  • Mars brand Galaxy Cookie Crumble Chocolate Bar, 114 gram package; best-before date end: 16 August 2015; batch codes: PB21, PB22 and PB23

According to the TSI, the above Chocolate Bars were recalled because they might contain a small piece of white plastic.

If plastic or metal fragments are ingested, they could cut the mouth, stomach or other parts of the GI tract, cause intestinal perforation or serious infection and possibly require surgical intervention for their safe removal.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Chocolate Bars, please do not consume them. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased them for a full refund.
