The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Soaps are subject to this recall:

  • Borneol Essence brand Soap, 125 gram bar
  • Lux brand Soap, 125 gram bar
  • Professional Baby brand Soap

Please consult the photograph above for details of the Soaps’ packaging, design and retail presentation. Additional brands of the recalled products are pictured on the Web site above.

According to the ACCC, there are no ingredients listed on the products in English, making these products, as such, non-compliant with the mandatory standard for ingredients labeling for cosmetic products in Australia. Some users may expose themselves to cosmetic ingredients in the recalled Soaps to which they are either sensitive or allergic. Should users suffer an adverse reaction they are also unable to check the ingredients list to identify the possible causes and seek appropriate and informed medical treatment.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Soaps, please do not use them. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
