The UK Trading Standards Institute (“TSI”) reports the following Cod Fillets are subject to this recall:

  • The Co-operative Loved By Us Frozen 4 Breaded Cod Fillets, 475 gram package; batch codes BBE Jan 2016, Code W027107

According to the TSI, a limited quantity of battered Cod Fillets have been packed in breaded cod fillet packaging. The battered fish contains milk and mustard which are allergens that are not declared as an ingredient.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession these recalled Cod Fillets and could be allergic to their milk and mustard ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them.
