US/Washington: USDA LogoESS Food recalls certain 50,904 pounds of Pork Belly Product produced in Poland due to failure to present at the US point of entry for inspection, a serious health hazard. USDA:

The United States Department of Agriculture (“USDA”) reports the following Pork is subject to this recall:

  • Pini Polona Pork Belly Boneless, sold in 40-pound boxes each containing 4 to 5 pieces

According to the USDA, the food products subject to recall bear the establishment number “10023802” inside the Polish mark of inspection. The products were shipped to a distributor in Texas and a processing facility in Iowa.

The problem was discovered during routine surveillance of storage facilities when an United States Department of Agriculture Food Safety and Inspection Service (“FSIS”) investigator observed that the products lacked USDA import inspection marks.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession the recalled Pork, please do not consume it. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
